IES
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Symposium (IES) at UKC 2026 The Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) cordially invites you to the 8th Innovation and Entrepreneurship Symposium (IES). This premier symposium aims to bridge entrepreneurial communities from the US and Korea, fostering unparalleled networking opportunities. The IES Workshop Program brings together leading founders, investors, researchers, and innovators for an intensive, insight-driven series of sessions designed to equip entrepreneurs with practical knowledge, global perspective, and meaningful partnership opportunities. With this year’s emphasis on R&D collaboration and strategic networking, the program creates structured opportunities for startups, SMEs, and research institutions to explore cross-border joint development, technology commercialization, and long-term research partnerships. The IES Startup Demo Session provides a dynamic platform for selected startups and SMEs to showcase their technologies, products, and services to an audience of investors, researchers, and potential R&D partners. Designed to foster meaningful engagement, this session moves beyond traditional presentations by encouraging direct interaction, real-time feedback, and partnership exploration. The IES offers the Startup Pitch Competition (SPC) and Idea Pitch Competition (IPC)—the symposium’s pinnacle events. Through SPC, startups vie for a cash prize by pitching to potential investors and industry veterans. The Idea Pitch Competition (IPC) beckons early-stage startups and aspiring entrepreneurs to present their concepts, garnering invaluable feedback from investors. The symposium is replete with diverse networking events, connecting attendees with investors, established entrepreneurs, funding agencies, and specialists in legal and financial domains. We warmly welcome all professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join us at the IES and delve into the burgeoning cross-border business vistas between the US and Korea.
